2015 Winner of ‘Jazz CD Of The Year’ in the 2015 Parliamentary Jazz Awards for Partisans – ‘Swamp’.
2015 elected as an ‘Honorary Associate of the Royal Academy of Music’.
2009 Parliamentary Jazz Awards for ‘Jazz Musician of the year.’
1998 Perrier Young Jazz Award for the ‘Best Instrumentalist Of The Year’.
1997 BT Awards- ‘Best Soloist Of The Year’.

2012 ‘The Immeasurable Code’ CD was nominated & shortlisted for both the ‘Parliamentary Jazz Awards’ for ‘Best CD’ & also in 2012 for a ‘London Award for Art & Performance’

As An Educator:
Following many years of service to each, Phil continues to be a visiting professor at Trinity College Of Music, The Guildhall School Of Music & Drama & The Royal Academy Of Music, the latter of which he was elected to be an honorary associate of in 2015. He also taught at the ‘Birmingham Conservatoire’ for 5 years.
Robson has appeared in the past as a tutor at major international educational events such as ‘The European Jazz Academy’ in Germany, Dordogne Jazz Summer School, BUJazzO summer camp etc.
He is currently a regular mentor at the ‘Jazz For Kids’ program @ ‘The Jazz Standard’, NYC.
