Study philosophy: If you are a guitarist who is interested in jazz, you’ve come to the right place! You may be someone who has no experience of playing jazz music but would like to get a feel for it by learning some basics. You may also be someone who just wants to add a little jazz into the mix or someone who already has a lot of jazz guitar experience wanting to develop what you’re doing further at an advanced level. All ages & levels are totally welcome. Jazz can seem a little daunting if you’re new to it but with a step by step approach & reachable goals it doesn’t need to be so. Phil can help you to expand your knowledge of chord shapes & harmony, learn jazz repertoire, improve your technique & sound, strengthen your time, rhythm & feel, learn vocabulary & much much more or simply get a basic understanding of it all starting from the blues.
